I was inspired by the current coronavirus situation to write this poem this morning after a conversation where several people where trying to understand why I choose to remain in light during so much uncertainty and darkness.  Light is not unabashed positivity, to me it’s equanimity in the face of anything that happens.  It’s a space where we can hold possibility for change and in all truth, there is always change so why not hold the possibility of light rather than darkness.  There is enough darkness and people holding the darkness…we need more balance and I choose to hold light.  I hope you enjoy the poem.
