What are Yoga and Meditation Offerings?

Yoga for me is about so much more than asana’s, it’s a way of living that encompasses who we choose to be in ourselves, and in the world.  Yoga Philosophy, which encompasses meditation, looks at the psyche and the Spirit and assists us in moving through life, relationships and inner struggles in ways that are healing and empowering.

From the yamas and niyamas to deeper wisdoms in the texts of the upanishads and Bhagavad Gita, the gentle, compassionate wisdom of yoga as a system of living is what I hope I bring forth with clients.  It is not a religion.  In my humble opinion, it is a set of practices that brings us to a oneness that allows us to walk through this world with more compassion for all living things as well as ourselves.

How I Use Yoga in Healing

Some clients come to me directly for yoga philosophy and physical yoga assistance.  For most clients, I integrate the teachings of yoga and the use of yogic breath work, bodywork and asanas as part of our work together.  If someone is going through a divorce, I might provide heart healing practices and asanas for inner stability for example. Each client is unique.

How I Use Meditation in Healing:

From teaching specific mantra meditation practices to teaching vipassana / insight meditation techniques and running retreats, I feel so blessed to be able to bring meditation to more people in easily accessible ways.  Meditation is a life changing tool for me, and a gift I am grateful to share.
