The December 14thnew moon / total solar eclipse is ending the new year with an energy of promise and new opportunities. While solar eclipses are not unusual at the new moon, a full solar eclipse is on average every 12-18 months and they recur in the same place only every 360-410 years.
Energetically, new moons offer us a time to get clear on our intentions, goals and plans while solar eclipses often signal new chapters and exciting possibilities in our lives.
This time we have both in Sagittarius which adds it’s own energy of positivity and often childlike excitement. It’s truly a magical time to envision a new future.
A few things to note:
- There is a powerful energy of stripping away the layers of the old, looking at a new future and doing so with more freedom of spirit than usual. Consider the feeling of unabashed freedom in whatever that is for you. Then couple that energy with a sense of inner clarity. Intuition will be strong for many right now, listen deeply.
- For many there will be a closure to something dramatic, leaving space for rebuilding in miraculous ways. Perhaps something you have always shied away from will come into view with new possibilities, perhaps a relationship will end to open you to a new beginning…whatever it is it will be complete and you will feel like the past is the past much faster than usual. You can also use this energy intentionally by choosing to finally lay something to rest while embracing the lessons the experience offered you.
- This new moon ushers in a new reality for many. DREAM BIG NOW, as you will feel the power of this moon if you choose to tap into it. Now is the time to do your vision board and send it to the universe to manifest.
This doesn’t mean it will all be easy, life doesn’t need to be easy to be meaningful (yes, say that again). Sometimes the most challenging things we face give us the greatest gifts.
For those who have lost so much this year, dreaming a new dream may feel out of reach as you are dealing with your grief. One way to use this energy for healing is to see yourself whole again, healed and surrounded with support and new opportunities. Manifesting happens on many levels and it’s not about being ‘ra ra’ and ignoring the truth of what is and has happened this year, it’s about seeing that life can be more than one thing and we can and do heal, every day, in miraculous ways. We have all been through so much this year, and in our lifetimes. I believe 2021 will bring new energies and new opportunities to heal. My heart goes out to all dealing with so much.
One thing to be conscious of is the need for many signs to reel in the energy a bit and focus it. The double dose of Sagittarius offers an open framework of positivity and excitement and without direction, many things may occur and if we don’t set intention within the activities we choose, we might find ourselves more confused and scattered by the adventure. Sagittarius is good at keeping us on our toes for any adventure and doing so with a wealth of positivity, that positivity needs direction at this time.
So how can we use the energy for positive growth and not overextend into chaos we may need to make up for later?
Perhaps consider something you really want and have been holding back from going after…start to imagine what if it DID happen, what if you GOT that job or that relationship or you tried an entirely new path. Use the energy to vision with purpose and envision a future that will arrive when you receive it.
Four things to do to harness this energy (which are all parts of inner/ outer manifesting):
- Write down what you want and do so over and over until you find clarity.
- Write down all of the negatives in your head that surround it and why you feel you haven’t received this and release on it (with help if needed).
- Envision it received.
- Let go of the energies of disbelief, self-doubt, etc. and get help to do this if needed.
The unbridled passion of Sagittarius can be by your side as you envision a whole new world…even more exciting, what if we did this together?
Imagine the integration of millions of visions to create a new world in 2021. What if we imagined the virus phased itself out, that people healed dramatically and easily and that we found new ways of working that supported healthier lifestyles. What if we rebuilt communities with vision and purpose, focusing on people more than commerce and these communities found ways to come together to rebuild and heal through consciously assisting one another.
